Born in Guadeloupe in December 1997, Todd-art jazz Rivens got his passion from a musician father who had a career as a bass player and sound engineer. Younger, Todd-art tried several instruments like the piano or the drums before naturally choosing the same instrument as his father. In 2015, he obtained a TMD Baccalaureate at "Lycée Carnot 971" where he spent three years alongside Daniel Reimonenq with whom he took his first bass lessons. In September 2017, he accompanied the reggae group ROOKIE ROOK & COMPAGNIE on a tour in Eastern Quebec. In December 2018 Todd-art obtained his bachelor's degree in Jazz Music at the University of Montreal in Canada. He had the chance to study with Fréderic Alarie & Alain Caron. During his last year of university, he founded with Nicolas Judith and Robert Calogero the trio INFUSED ELEMENTS. Together, they will release their first independent Jazz Fusion album entitled INSULAIRE. He has been invited to perform twice in Guadeloupe at the Creole Jazz Club. During the year 2019/2020 Todd-art went to travel the globe in search of new sounds, new international connections, new musical cultures, new musical practices. This is how he began his plan to leave for a year to visit other horizons, equipped with a Ukulele Bass, an amplifier, equipment to record and edit his music. A lover of music, Todd-art is a musician who does not hesitate to try his hand in different musical styles. As he goes on, he develops a palette of sounds with his electric, fretless bass and his Bass Ukulele.
This is an exercise. It's not the original sound track.
